In-person treatment plans combine targeted massage / manual therapy with myofunctional exercise based therapy. This includes movement retraining, strengthening, education, and accountability. This approach helps you reduce tension, restore balance, and create lasting change.

Steps To Begin In Person Therapy

Step 1

Your journey can begin with a complimentary 20 minute virtual consult - an opportunity to ask questions, share your concerns and determine whether this approach is the right fit for you. While this is NOT mandatory, it’s a great first step to feel confident moving forward with your initial assessment.

Step 2

Your initial appointment is a thorough assessment of your jaw, tongue, neck, and posture. We’ll discuss your health history, dental history, daily habits, and symptoms in detail. We’ll take pictures of your jaw, tongue, neck and overall posture. This ensures your treatment plan is tailored specifically to your needs. This appointment is up to 90 minutes long and while it may include some manual therapy, the goal of the appointment is to uncover the root cause of your symptoms.

The Cost Of Your Initial Assessment Is $250 + HST

Step 3

Together, we develop a personalized structured plan that addresses the underlying factors contributing to your symptoms, establishes clear goals, and outlines the steps needed to help you feel better and regain confidence in your jaw function.

Clinical Appointments

You’ll be given simple, guided exercises and self-care strategies to reinforce your in-office treatment. These may include jaw mobility drills, tongue and breathing exercises, and posture resets. Consistency with home care helps you make faster, longer-lasting progress.

Home Care & Exercises

Many TMJD symptoms are influenced by things like clenching, poor posture, or mouth breathing. I’ll help you recognize these patterns and give you tools to break them—making your treatment more effective and sustainable.

Education and Habit Changes

Your treatment plan isn’t just about what happens during your appointments — it’s also about what you do between sessions. That’s why I include ongoing support and accountability as part of your treatment plan. You’ll have access to progress check-ins, exercise and symptom tracking as well as a direct line of communication when you need guidance from me. This keeps you motivated, on track, and supported every step of the way.

Accountability & Support

Treatment Plan Options and Investment

TMJ care is delivered through structured treatment plans rather than single sessions. This allows enough time, consistency, and clinical oversight to address the underlying contributors to your symptoms and support lasting change.

Most in-person care falls into one of the following timeframes:

  • Focused care (approximately 3 months)

  • Foundational care (approximately 5 months)

  • Comprehensive care (approximately 10 months)

The appropriate plan is determined after your assessment and is based on your history, symptoms, goals, and capacity for home practice.

Investment

In-person treatment plans typically range from $1,400 to $5,100 + HST, depending on the length and level of support required.

Payment plans are available for select programs.

Time Commitment

Meaningful progress requires consistency both in-clinic and at home. Treatment plans involve scheduled appointments, consistent home practice, and ongoing communication to support progress between visits.

Specific recommendations and timelines are reviewed in detail following your assessment. This model is ideal for individuals who want a clear roadmap for recovery and are ready to focus on long-term jaw health — not just temporary relief.
